Hi. I’m new to the forum. My son came back from college and gave me back my 2006 TRD extended cab. It now has 207,000 miles on it. It runs amazingly well. I just had the frame replaced a no charge. It has original shocks, in dire need of replacement. I had the front end leveled years ago with a spacer, which I believe was 1-2”the rear is stock. I also recall Toyota replaced the leaf springs under warranty years ago. The truck looks like new underneath. Anyone know the part numbers of the stock bilsteins, and we’re to buy, or a recommendation on replacements. Right now just looking for it to be a good weekend truck. Would springs need to be changed as well. It has done little off-road. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The bilstien 5100's have been a popular option for people here. If you're just looking to keep things how they are, I would think the 5100's are the cheapest you can go. They're other lift options like coils and coilover setups. Just depends how far you want to go. I would checkout Headstrong Off Road's website and that might give you ideas on what you might want.

Lots of almost new TRD offroad take-off struts (shock+spring+tophat) hit Craigslist at reasonable prices from new truck owners. Pick up a 3rd gen set, they sit an inch higher than our second gen setup.
