Was off work today and decided to relocate my horns. I figured I would get a jump start on my grill an move the horns so that's one less thing I have to do. Mounted them beside each headlight and used stock mounting holes. No drilling, nothing involved. Only thing I had to do was cut and splice the wires and extend them long enough to reach each side. While I was in their I painted my radiator sides and the middle black.

Ive searched the forum and ive seen alot of trucks with the emblem in the center, even though theirs no trucks local with the grille or emblem in the center. I didnt want to be normal, i like it in the corner. Its odd and makes people look. Was at the toyota lot today picking up parts for the rear diff mod and the sales manager was snapping pics when i came out! lol

today i pulled the trigger on some rubber! I got Toyo open country at2s for 160.00 put on and no taxes :) After i got home i tore it back down and installed the spidertrax spacers and done the rear diff mod! Then had a few beers..ha!

The truck looks great, the emblem is different but you're right, it sets you apart from everyone else. Where did you get your tires put on?

So let's bring this thread back! I've been debating to sell, but for now I'm keeping it. After yesterday it's gained more trust! With 1/4-1/2 inch of ice she kept it on the road and was able to help a few people out of the ditches. Started off I had to take my fiancé to work, usually a 30 minute commute. Well we didn't make it 3 miles down our road until the road was blocked. Long story short we saw 10+ wrecks, 1 salt truck flip over and a older man break his ancle. Needless to say I couldn't make it to her work. We did help a few people and got the guy with the broke ancle up the road to meet an ambulance. Here's a few pics

    before we left
    34g3vk9_e873dd574d787ac378472493470f6fcbbf409bae.jpg

the hill that no one could climb, my truck is in the curve at the bottom of the hill, had to walk up and help get 4 vehicles out of the road so the salt trucks could come later.
    sccrva_badb5b83425746d7a2cbd17fbaa23d649f57b595.jpg

this is where we was for a hour waiting on the tow truck to get out of the ditch.
    28c342x_65195ade019c366f389e2c6ea1918f4b2f889580.jpg

then a county salt truck comes up the road thinking he can make it with NO chains, no 4wd. Needless to say he slid striaight off the road and ended up like this..
    2nlwvn8_7f3673b868d23c342ae5491e4925b58363c6b043.jpg

Next up is 5100s front an back, finish up light bar behind grille, and attemp to do led in cluster, ac controls and shifter.

Had some free time and wanted to try the gauge led swap. Ordered blue/white lights. I had the cluster out in a few minutes, the light swap was easy. Took about 2 hours for everything. Im happy how it turned out! (i had to take it back out and adjust the fuel and temp needles one time..newbie!) sorry for the shitty pic, ill get a better night one..
