I have these fj trd 16 inch rims but in silver and have ran them for last 4 2nd gens Tacomas since 2005 (just swapped em over for each vehicle). They have an offset to run bigger tires and also can run snow/mud chains and clear the upper uca. My question is are these able to air down to 10 psi or no because they are not bead lock design wheels? How far down in psi from normal 35 psi and good E rated off road tire can I air down with these wheels tks[IMG]

No one-size-fits-all answer. Each tire behaves differently on each different wheel. You'll have to experiment on your own and see what works. 20psi should be no problem, 15psi may be starting to push it, 10psi I'd say it largely depends on the terrain and what you are doing. Some guys go down to single digits in the snow but I wouldn't do the same thing rock crawling.

Lower you go the greater chance of losing a bead, but I went 15psi with those wheels many times. 10 is probably also fine. A lot depends on the tire used, and the terrain / speed / ect you are working with. No one-size answer here.

So are the rims pictured "bead lock" style rims or just plain ol rims? Or is bead Lock just a rim design I see with with the extra flat metal piece that covers the tire bead? I'm running 255/85/R16 cooper ST Maxx studded tires and these same wheels pictured tks

Just regular rims.... the TRD ones with the ring are also just regular...the ring in a 'Faux beadlock' or "rash ring" that is meant to take scrapes from rocks ect...has no bearing on the tire mounting or holding ability (aside from protecting the lip I suppose).
