3" front/2" rear 'level' kit. Working on my rear mount baby turbo setup
So I went to throw on the 3" frt/2" rear 'lift' kit today

I watched a video (Youtube garage) and I'm fairly handy with stuff like this so I'm scratching my head...like HARD scratching.

All links to most of these kits I find are the same-same top hat piece, u-bolts, lifting block in the rear etc.

So I get under mine in the rear and the leaf spring is UNDER the axle, NOT ABOVE like I find in these videos. The stock u-bolts go over the actual axle and not the leaf springs (oval end vs. squarish end).

    What gives?

Do you have 5 lugs on your wheels or 6? Sounds like you have a 5 lug and a kit for a 6

Well that’s the problem…your truck is a 2wd. I’m sure they make a flip kit for the leaf springs to put them on top of the axle.

Yep, 5-lug. Dangit! The kit I ordered, most don't seem to ask it, never stipulated 4x4. This was the exact listing:
3" Front 2" Rear Leveling Lift Kit For Toyota Tacoma 2.7L 2005-2018 2WD 4WD BLUE

Grrrr! Ebay got me again!!! HAHAHAHA!

Yes! I saw what was happening and was like, 'wait...this is going to lower the truck, not raise it'. Wow. Thanks to all who replied so quickly!

One follow up-on the front. Do those spacers work up there for mine? If they do, and they are 3", coupled with that shackle lift kit (2.75"), that would work for my needs.
