Hello there. Having issue with my 2007 Tacoma(120k) headlights. Had both front headlight units replaced about 2 years ago with aftermarket product. Both of the units' running lights overheated/melted. Both front blinkers now do not work (and running lights don't work). Also the headlights are dimmer because now foggy on inside of clear plastic lenses.

Any suggestions? Should I replace the headlights with Toyota factory parts? Mechanically vehicle is good. Would like to continue with it.
    Thanks

The blinkers are the running lights.
If the turn signal fuse is good, then it’s probably the headlight assembly.

There are blinker relays and blinker/drl relays. There are also LED versions for lower resistance to avoid hyper-flash. Using incandescent bulbs in regular housings as DRL is known to melt the lenses, you should use LEDs if you're going to run them as DRL. Also, the blinker bulb is dual filament, and depending on how you plug it in will dictate if you have the bright or dim filament on all the time.
