SOLD within 7 hours of post to craigslist :)

Hey guys. I need to start the selling process of my motorcycle. Wondering if there is any interest on here. I would like to do a local sale only.

Its a 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R with 9,xxx miles. Has brand new tires (Metzer M3s) and a new battery because my battery tender decided to stop working in the winter. Custom - one of a kind paint job with color matched windscreen and seat cowl, stock exhaust mod, aluminum racing triple tree with handle bar risers and MX bars (Total 3" lift over stock), ss brake line in the front and lots of little misc goodies. I have all stock parts and records and receipts from services and mods. Will include rear motorcycle stand with sale.

Asking $4,700 Obo. Bike is garage kept in Pasadena, MD but i can load it in my truck and take it to my apartment in Owings Mills if thats a better arrangement.

PM me for more info or any questions if you are interested.

It's in a "Like New" condition

I don't want to jack your thread but could you PM me how you got MX bars on a sport bike? I'd love to lose the clips on mine for a set of real bars!

Great looking bike by the way, that thing is clean!

Very nice kawi. My buddy had one same model n year but the monster edition. He got into 2 minor accidents and insurance finally totaled it. I used to have an 03 gsxr1000 but got stolen last year. Still debating on if i want to get another bike.

Ergonomically, does it feel like a small sport standard? FZ6 or Ninja 650R?

My girlfriend has a FZ6 with the naked conversion but is looking for something fully faired for longer rides with me. The sportbike leg positioning may not be suitable, but I can run it by her and see what she thinks.

I did the conversion after sitting on the Buel xb12s, ninja 650r and triumph street triple at a bike show. I've had the bike on long rides after the bars and it is very comfortable. I was concerned about the foot position but it didn't bother me one bit. Also it can be switched back to stock fairly easily or you can buy the adjustable Rearset and move them forward. Either way, let me know if you are interested or have any more questions. The bike looks much better in person.
