Hey everyone. New guy here. Bought my first Taco Monday and stoked about it. But come to find out I've got an oil leak. I'm 99% sure it's oil at least. I've searched around a good deal and have a decent idea if what it could be. But I wanted to post a picture and let you experts tell me what it more than likely is. I'm going to take it back to the dealership hopefully Tuesday and let them know how unhappy I am about this. It's hitting the ground right in the middle of the truck just behind the front wheels. Appreciate any help and have really enjoyed reading and learning a lot of new things from this site.

We'll what I would do is first crawl under the truck to see where it may be coming from. Next spray it with simple green and wash off all the oil and than drive it and crawl under again. Could b power steering or motor oil more pictures would b helpful

Got under it today with a good friend who works on cars. Looks like the drain plug. Couldn't find any other place that showed signs of leaking and it was wet around the plug. Very relieved. We backed out the plug a bit and re-tightened it. So far that solved it. Will have to check later this evening to confirm.

I believe, Toyota recommends changing the Oil plug gasket with every oil change. Perhaps the Plug just needs a new gasket??

    Welcome to TW.
Unlike many vehicles, Tacoma's have a "crush washer" for the oil pan drain bolt. Some change them every oil change, others find you can get several oil changes on the same gasket. Do not overtighten.

That is a Fumoto valve. Very handy when changing your own oil. I have one installed.

I've always been a nipple fan!

I'm going to look into that Fumoto, thanks everyone for the help, such a major relief knowing it's nothing serious. The dealership is a decent haul for me to take it back to, and I haven't even heard back from them about it, so screw them. I've got experience changing oil and I've read the oil change threads on here (don't worry, I won't drain my tranny! haha) so I'll probably just change the oil soon and make sure I put a washer/gasket/etc. on the plug.
