2007 PreRunner: Is this CarFax a dealbreaker?

Sounds like my wife was driving it and backing into everyone at Walmart.

 

I think the operative word here is that op stated they have a $10k budget. In which case when a modest budget is involved, you do the best you can with what you have to work with.

I would not see purchasing this truck a big deal, if it was maintained and well cared for. An accident free vehicle is less of a concern as a vehicle nears the 5-7 year mark. At 10 years old it should not even be a deciding factor, as long as it's not a salvaged title.

Op get it checked out by a mechanic, perhaps offer $9000-$8500 as see if they take that. Otherwise buy it and don't think twice.

 

Well, since we're reviving this thread after four years, what vehicle did you buy OP? Lol

 

I'd pass on it... too many history. If you decided to sell it, you'd be stuck with the truck....
