    Hello, trying to see what ways I can fix this.

    I've been having leaks in the front passenger side of the truck, and I checked for the window, AC drain, and air cabin filter. But the issue seems to stem from a rusted area of the wall [2nd image].

    How I found it is basically using a hose and putting water low and anywhere near the passenger side until I noticed water coming out.
    This is under the cowl on the front passenger side where the water goes when it rains.

    The water then seems to drip through a hole where it has rusted and pools on the floor.
    This is where it feels wet, and I have seen water drops over it.

    The location of this spot is on the right side wall behind the glovebox to reach here.
    Here is an image of where the water ends up.

    Temporarily, I might slap some duct tape over it when it rains till I have a real game plan. At least I can test if there is a second leak that way.

    This is nowhere near a solution, but a band aid for the time being. You could drill a 1/4" hole in your floor pan to at least the water drain out to the ground.

    On the other side, you might try to remove as much rust as possible. Like with a wire brush or even a screwdriver. You can even use a junk fork from your kitchen drawer. Like that odd one that doesn't match and you kinda wonder where it came from. LOL. Just scrape as must rust away as reasonable possible. Then maybe a layer of Bondo. And press some screen mesh into / onto it. Then another layer of Bondo after that dries. Repeat / broadening the area of coverage as you deem necessary. Then dispense an entire rattle can of primer over it.

    Thankfully, it is not visible so you can be rather aggressive and not worry about appearance.

    HTH and best wishes!

    I had a similar leak recently, and water was collecting on the passenger side floormat.

    I cured it by removing the windshield wiper arms, and then pulling the "Cowl Cover" under the hood (plastic cover that covers the bottom of the windshield).
    This thing;

    There is a track in this cover that was gunked up with dirt and grime. I believe that water was getting between the track and the windshield, and dripping through the HVAC vent into the blower motor assembly.

    I washed and wiped it out the track and then cleaned the bottom of the windshield. I put everything back together, and have not had a problem since.

    I found it easy... But I'm me, and it has been my truck since June of 2009. (BTW - I did the rodent screen several years ago. I can't believe that some bean counter at Toyota prevented this from being a stock part of the trucks. The mounting holes are already in the lip of the HVAC inlet!)

    There are plastic end channels that snap into the cowl cover. They are held in place by two tabs. Just be gentle with them and they should snap back in place once the cowl cover is correctly positioned.
