2007 Tacoma 200k Amsoil synthetic oil

Which Amsoil synthetic oil should I use for my 2007 Tacoma 200,000 miles? I've began hearing truck backfire at 190k when starting truck. I think it's beginning to burn oil, not sure I'm keeping watch. I commute and road trip a lot racking up the miles.

History:
Location is central California temperatures.
I'm second owner at 50k mi.
Oil changed every 3k miles the last 4yrs with Mobil1 0w-20.
Switched to Amsoil synthetic at 150k mi using 0w-20. Changing oil at every 10,000 miles.
A couples times Toyota regular oil was used then back to Amsoil. I just didn't have time to change my oil.

why are you using 0w-20? the truck is meant to run 5w-30

I was told thats what I should use when I first did my oil change. I started with mobile 1. Then switched to amsoil.
Since then my truck started backfiring a little. I've been thinking I should be using something else. I'm in CA and truck just hit 212k mi.
