Changed my front brake pads along with all the rubber boots, cleaned it all up, lubed the slider pins; but then afterward, when I would first apply the brakes, I would hear a loud "click" coming from the front of the vehicle. T/S it down to the new pads that I bought. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap pads. Initially, I thought it was the slider pins sticking, but it was the pads sliding up in the caliper housing when the brakes were first applied. The pads that I bought did not fit snugly into the slots/clips on the caliper housing. You could actually move them up and down about 3/16 of an inch. OEMs installed, problem solved, no more clicking.
