The back light for climate control cluster not working. The bulbs that light up the nob. I replaced both bulbs. The ac and recirculation buttons light up. What could be the issue? Loose wire maybe. I did just take the whole thing apart. Not sure why that would cause the 2 bulbs to stop working. Thanks

Did you attempt to clean the contacts?

You might want to check if there is voltage with a volt meter.

Do any of the other lights not work.
Like the Hazard light switch, fog light switch light, or the A/T gear shift light (automatic)?

Hazard light and time work. Just the back lighting for climate control. I replaced the 2 wedge bulbs and it was working. I did just do the led bulb replacement on gauge cluster.

All you can do is test the connector for the lights. It’s the one plugged in to the back of the control unit.
    It’s pin # 3 Green (power) and pin #8 Green/White (Ground).
If you have power/ground to those, then the bulbs are bad or making poor contact.IMG_0278.jpg
