2007 tacoma seat question

Will seats from a 2012 tacoma fit a 2007 tacoma? thanks

 

They will physically bolt in, weather or not the airbag components will plug in I'm not 100% sure. I know 09+ has side airbags in the seats and on 05-08 they were an option but not standard.

Bench and bucket seats have different airbag components that do not interchange, so if your doing a bench to bucket swap or vice versa you have to do some engineering to get the airbag system to be happy.

 

I put seats from a 2015 in my 2009 and everything bolted up and plugged right in. I have side airbags, everything works perfectly.

 

I don't think my 2007 has side air bags. I removed the seat once and there were no plug-ins at all.

 

Should still have a sensor for the seat belt in the drivers side and a pressure sensor in the passenger seat for the belt/dash airbag. So maybe just one plug on both. The airbag plugs would be yellow.
