Own a 2007 w/31,000 miles. Inherited truck! Appears Toyota over-rated with too many problems with this truck - failed air conditioner, failed tire pressure warning light, V6 poor power, and (with careful driving) 17.5 mpg.

What exactly happened in those 31000 miles? My 2007 (Best year!) has none of those problems and 20+MPG. If the previous owner took out the TPMS, your tire pressure monitoring won't work...

Dude your truck has been sitting. And anything can fail on these trucks. They are definitely reliable trucks if taken care of. Mine has 25k on it and it is still running awesome!

Tune up and recharge your ac. Simple fix. Clearly the truck has been stagnant for some time.

Ps. It's a truck not a Prius. Don't expect mpg miracles.

    Thank-you

I have an 07 and the only recurring issue I know of is the TPMS stuff...

    Just me
Doesn't the battery in the TPMS sensors run down after 5-7 years? That could be the only problem there..

Probably the original tires so battery could be the only problem. My only gripe when I had a 2007 was the sensor in the spare that gave me a low pressure light when I drove right up to the snow line at BassPro in Fontana. When I came out it cooled the tires enough for the low spare to trip it.
