2007 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 trd

I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD. I Bought spacer lift kit for this truck on Amazon. I put 2 inch spacer lift on the rear with rough country. Shocks, the mechanic went to put the front 3in spacers on the front and said that it wouldn't work that things didn't line up. This kit is no different from any other spacer lift kit for this year truck. He informed this the first kit he's ever done. The rear spacers he did went on fine. This is a stock truck. Are there modifications that need to be done for the front 3in spacer kit to work?? Need advice ty for any info you can provide

 

You simply rotate the front shock 180 degrees to make it work.

It's 3 bolts so the pattern changes when bolted on.

To be fair my first time I was rotating the whole shock on a compressor until another tech told me to flip them.
