A false air leak into the exhaust would not upset the fuel trims enough to stall though.. 02 sensor inputs are only supplemental. They can affect only small incremental changes. The lions share of the fuel strategy (at least under load) is accomplished through the maf. We can see through the 90% calculated load that the pcm is not getting any bad/incorrect info. It sees the airflow and throttle angle when he floors the pedal but it still can't get fuel. The 02s are seeing the lack of fuel in the exhaust and driving the trims up

A converter could be clogged and not code.. but yes, the trims would be funny one side only.

I believe it's at the back of the motor where the supply line feeds the fuel rail.

Unable to find a fuel pressure port of any kind. I noticed when I remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator I get no change at all in rpms. Shouldn't I get a change in them if regulator is good?

Did you ever get to track down the culprit?

Apparently it's my fuel pump. I borrowed a pressure gauge & checked it as I drove. It would drop down to 20psi under load. Soooooooo, I'm dropping the gas tank this week & rebuilding the fuel pump- lucky me!
