Toyota had my truck under a different owner at shop in CT 2013 under this extended warranty of the frame it SHOULD have been replaced, repaired or treated. Fifth owner of this precious vechicle looking into recalls which failed the leaf spring test, leaving truck for repairs leaving w Rent a truck to demand it back no sooner did I get home as if I stole it to return theirs and take my very rotted framed truck back. The springs are there holding something but uet they won't fix my recall that is my right.
Do I call the CT toyota and see why it wasn't repaired demand they fix it nicely for it was in their hands and repair wasn't repaired??

It's a safety issue... they could be held liable if the new springs were installed to rotted parts.

replacements were offered 12 years from date of the vehicle being in service. So expired some 5 or more years ago.

If I understand what you are saying, 2013 was when a problem wasn't dealt with, under a different owner?

So. When you bought the vehicle, the problem was already there, correct?

You'll get nothing from Toyota re the frame.

What I don't understand is if this was a recent purchase or not. If it was, your best shot is trying to get the selling dealer to take the truck back, as it sounds like they sold an unsafe vehicle.

There is nothing you can do.
It is 12 years from date of first use (first purchase).

Toyota also gets their owner information from the state DMV.
Why you never received a notice?, I don't know.

Here in Tennessee. They looked at the frame.
If it passed. They sent you on your way. No coating, no nothing.
Ideally, one would want to wait until year 11 to have it inspected.
Because once it passes, you are on your own. There is no "second" inspection.

Maybe they "inspected it" in 2013 before you bought the truck?
If so, maybe that's why you never got a notice?
