Hi everyone, I'm new to my Tacoma and the forum and need a lil help please. Is anyone familiar with the color code for the 02 sensor wiring on the precast bank 1 sensor 1 wiring? I have a red, white, pink, and blue wire and also a shielded wire and am trying to install a denso 4 wire 02 sensor with 2 black wires a blue and a white. Any idea which wire does what? So far with a meter I have found 12 volts on the white wire and like 1 to 2 volts on both the pink and blue wires red nothing and I believe the shielded is ground. Do I have a short in the 2 wires reading the low voltage?

The upstream is an AFR sensor and it should just plug in.

Yes normally it would but the plug was burned up due to heat damage from an exhaust leak I had.

I'll see if I can find a pinout but the correct way to fix it would be to replace the connector.
The colors on the sensor end vary by manufacturer.

Thanks for that and the info. I've been searching for days and the local parts stores can't get the harness for some reason. I think it's a special order from Toyota and that's going to take time I really can't afford. I appreciate you .

Salvage yard if you have one in your area would be the cheapest and best bet, toyota doesn't sell pigtails per se they sell the plug and pins separately so you have to build your own.

Ya looks like I'm in a pickle here then because I've checked at all 3 local salvage yards in town and nothing. Thank you for the reply though

Just one more thing real quick, if you don't mind? What are the specs supposed to be for the ecm connector at the bottom of the page? It seems to have gotten cut out or something. I can't view it all

So I'm ordering the harness from eBay you found but until it comes in what would you suggest I hook the 5th shielded ground wire to? One of the ground prongs on the A/F sensor plug or just ground it to the chassis?

Apologies, I just screenshotted the connector part, here's the whole page.

The shield wire doesn't go to the connector, it terminates before it. Basically it's just a grounded wire that's woven around the harness to prevent electrical interference, it has no connection to the sensor wires.

Heeeyyy man me again, so sorry to bug you again but I don't suppose you could help me figure out which prongs on the new air flow sensor those harness wires should go to could you? It's the denso 4 wire sensor that I got it was about 200 bucks. 2 black and one white and a blue. Ive figured out that the two matching colors are normally the heater side but not sure on the others? I believe the white is my 12 volt power and blue is signal? Just don't want to miss wire it...

I'm not sure, you can't use the pinout of the connector that was on the sensor?
If not maybe someone with a 2.7l can look at their's and see, I know @Jimmyh has one.
