I bought a 2008 4.0L with 116k miles on it about a month ago. I have been going thru it changing fluids, etc. The service records were really good but there is no mention of some of the heavier maintenance items, coolant and transmission as an example.

I've been monitoring the two temperatures. At highway speeds the coolant temp is between 190-195 degrees and the trans temps are in the 170-175 degree range. It's summer so the temps may be a little higher.

Just wondering if anyone knew what the expected ranges should be? I am going to replace these fluids but wondering if these temps may indicate a coming issue?

    Thanks for any help

I operate around those ranges and I've changed my coolant every 100K and do a transmission flush every 60K. I currently have 270K on the ODO.
