So I have a 2008 AC base Tacoma 4 cylinder. I’ve had it for a little more than a year and has absolutely given me 0 problems. I use it as my work truck and my daily. I own a small lawn care business and it tows about 2000lbs easily. The most I think I will ever tow would be around 3000-3500lbs.

I do see myself keeping my truck as my work truck for a long time and eventually down the line buy a newer truck for my daily. Saying that I would want my Tacoma to stand out a bit.

Say if my budget is around $6-$7k what do you think I should do to it? I definitely want to do a 2.5 lift and some AT tires but I’m open to suggestions given I know nothing about trucks.
    Thank y’all in advance

I would not be spending money on lift and tires on a 4cyl gardener spec...

for one, it doesn't have the power to handle lift and tires
    the chassis is different
    etc.

    It looks good as is.
Lift and tires are for a purpose, not looks.

If you want some cheap ideas that look good:
    -anti glare hood scoop decal
    -DEPO smoked headlights
    -DEPO smoked LED tails
    -raptor grill
    -RokBlokz
    -better third brake light
    -gas cap holder
    -locking gas cap
-in channel window visors such as AVS
    etc

    and hidden stuff like maintenance

    mods come from need
you can think of what you need
like "damn, I really need a way to mount hold my Hydroflask"
boom, they sell a cupholder adapter

Thank you for your response! I would agree with you on the lift since I’ll never do off-road. Would you recommend just getting bigger tires and some spacers? I do like how other trucks look with those AT thick tires.

    I wouldn’t add larger tire.
Larger tires are heavier and also change the over all gear ratio. Which won’t help with towing.
