so to resolve an arguement b/w me and my buddy im asking you guys... is there ANY exterior differences between and 2008-09 Tacoma compared to an 2011 Tacoma besides the grille??? he claims the "lines" on the 08-09 tacos on the exterior are totally different??? based off of google so far im not seeing theses so called "different lines"...

and BTW when did the led taillights start coming on tacos???

The LED's started in 2009. The Tacomas from 2005-2011 have the exact same body lines, the 2012 is basically the same too except for the grille/headlights/front bumper/hood scoop thing. Just park them side by side and it's easy to tell. Maybe your friend gets a little confused when comparing colors. Different colors can make a car/truck look way different IMO.
