    Gents,

I'm putting a new head unit (Pioneer AVH-X4600BT DVD Receiver) and back up camera, into my 08 tacoma DCLB SR5 TRD Sport with jbl system, and wanted at add the bluetooth steering wheel control to the audio control that's already there in the LH. I looked alot on the forums and wasn't able to find this specific thing done. I saw the long thread about the guy who had no steering wheel controls, and installed the entire clockspring, LH and RH controls, along with the new airbag, but that didn't have the answers I was looking for. It's linked below as a reference:

So, I ordered the ribbon and RH BT control for an 09-13 tacoma, and will see how it goes. I'll keep you guys updated with info and install. If anyone knows if this mod works already, please let me know! I hope to come to you guys for any questions I have, and contribute to the forum with my first mod to the truck! BTW, I just bought this truck a few days ago and HOT DAMN IS IT AWESOME!

Cool idea! It will be an enjoyable upgrade once you complete it!
If you are going to retrofit the steering wheel controls, just be sure to purchase the aftermarket steering wheel control adapter. This site will show you the one you need: metraonline.com/
This will allow your factory steering wheel to control your aftermarket headunit. :)
Good luck! Can't wait to see your progress.

I installed the right hand controls in my truck before they were an option on the tacoma, All i ordered was the ribbon and the right side controls from a 4runner and had someone change the LED to color match.
