    Hello all,

I'm considering buying a 2008 4wd crewcab long bed at almost 200k mostly highway and lightly loaded miles, well maintained.

What is the general verdict on these as the miles mount up.

    Ok, I'm over Fifty-mmmph years old. :p
I don't expect it to be perfect.
    I am hoping for reliable.
I've gotten 300k+ miles out of my last 4 vehicles, so I don't abuse stuff; well......not too much;).

A little bit of light hauling, (yard sales, odds and ends) but not expecting to load heavy or tow anything.
I may desire to toss a light plow just for our driveway, not plowing WalMart.

My wife and I need it for an everyday runner.
    ~2-300 miles a week.

I'm an RN so I need reliable transpo that gets me to work, but also gets me home when I can leave regardless of the weather.
After a double shift plus a mandate,:goingcrazy: you are ready buy a snowmobile to get home.

We live in the boonies so we want something that will handle bad weather even if we have to putt along in 4WDLow on studs and chains.

I can do routine maintenance and repairs, but my taste for lying in the snow fixing cars has diminished with the decades.

Any advice? Trouble spots, things I should expect as reasonable on this condition?

We considered the Tundra, but I'll never need that much capacity any more.

    All responses appreciated!

there really isn't much to look at unless the owner doesn't mind you dumping and sorting through fuids lol.

if it drives good, the driveshafts are good (lots of people forget to grease those on 4x4), and it shifts without any slipping or weirdness, go for it.
