2008 Dash Light Problem After Stereo Install But Tail Lights Work

    LOL.

    I wish they would have made the instructions clearer or made the color of the orange wire different. I called the dealer and the rheostat is about 90 to 100 bucks to replace since I fried mine.

    well my dash lights work with my headlights since i connected the dimmer ground but only the ac knobs dim when i turn the knob. woudl that be a rheostat being the dimmer still dims with the ac controls??

    Hey guys I just did this as well I was looking very hard for a thread on this but just how did y'all ground ur wires ?

    do the instructions say which color is your ground?

    make sure you dont mix the orange with the white stripe vs. the normal orange. thats what i did. sorry i can't be of more help.

    yea i did the same thing :( im still trying to figure out the ground, but i know that if i connect those damn wires the gauge works but turns off when i turn on the lights!

    Anyone try to install a RCA adapter? I tried and now my stereo wont even turn on. . :/ please help.
