Has anyone on here owned a late 07 or 08 F150? I'm thinking about getting one but I'd like some honest opinions from people who have owned a 150. I know the MPG is gonna drop a tad but ill get a lot more interior room and towing capacity. thanks guys

    No.

I've never been dumb enough to buy a Ford.

My dad has an 06 f150 stx2wd 4.6l v8 it's been a great truck he just rolled 100k the other day and loves it he gets 17 mpg on the highway. Personally I drive his truck all the time but its not the Tacoma. The interior room is nice and is comfy to drive. The trucks components have lasted as well he got 80k on his brakes and also had to change his a/c compressor at the same time. He changed the spark plugs the other day at the 100k mark and they were in great shape

Ford makes great trucks, my dad loves them & has never had issues. They are roomy & very comfortable but I'm very happy with my Tacoma for now. I'll see how the dodge with the 3.0 Diesel pans out, might consider that down the road. I'd say go for it & best of luck!

I had a 2008 f150 4x4. It was a good truck. Gets probably around 17 mpg. Only thing when comes to around 89xxx miles the cam sensers goes bad. That you needs to replace.the local non ford mechanic fucked my truck up. Made it worst. At 90xxx miles had to either spend three grand on senser, tires, brakes. Could have kept it. Ended up a taco instead.
