2008 melting DTRL lens.

    I have a 2008 with DTRL melting issue that so many are having. I did the DTRL mod myself but do have the Toyota Extra Care warranty (good to 100,000 miles) that I purchased at the same time I bought my Certified Tacoma from a dealer. Mileage is at 92,000 miles. Anyone think there is no good reason why dealer would not replace. Same assembly whether you have DTRL or not.....right?

    If you didn't have DTRL , I doubt your VIN would be part of the warranty extension but that would be the place to start
