I recently had a friend replace the pads on my 2008 Taco 4x4(with 11" rotors) because I could not make them stop chirping. I replaced pads, rotors, lines, calipers, used brake grease, brake spray glue, etc. and couldn't get the chirp to stop. He did get it to stop chirping, but now I get a bad wobble in the steering wheel(feels like front right side) when hitting the brakes above 60 mph. I had the rotors turned again by a machine shop who said they had the proper equipment for Toyota rotors. It still wobbled. Took rotors to Toyota store and had them turn them. It still wobbles. There was a little play in front right tie rod so I replaced it. Still wobbles. Now new Bosch rotors. Still wobbles. Anybody have any ideas? Could it maybe be an ABS module?

Maybe lower ball joint, how many miles on the truck and have the ball joints ever been replaced?

Also check to see if the wheel weights are not missing also.

Just turned 200k. I'm pretty sure my buddy would have replaced the ball joints if they needed it but I'll check that and the wheel bearings. Wheel doesn't wobble or hop at any speed, up to 90, without hitting the brakes but I'll check weights too. Thanks! No thoughts on the ABS module? When hitting brakes hard it does grab slightly to left for a split second....
