Hey, new here (Hopefully posting this in the right place),

I have a 2008 Tacoma SR5 V6, and its got a pretty good amount of aftermarket electrical on it, im worried that I might be overloading my alternator and dont want to prematurely wear it out. I've tried to find info online but struggled to get any good info.

When I bought it the previous owner put a 1000w amp in and a set of KC Lights.
I have added ditch lights, backup lights and led strips in my bed.

    Total Load is:
    Amp 1000w
    KC Lights 200w (17 amps)
    Ditch Lights 84w (7 amps)
    Reverse Lights 36w (3 amps)
    Bed Lights 18w (1.5 amps)

I really only use my bed lights and reverse lights for short periods of time so im more worried about running my ditch lights and KC lights at the same time, while also using by audio system. Do I need to be worried about my alternator or should it be fine?

You need to figure out what your stock alternator output is. It’s been estimated that the stock configuration is roughly 80-90 amps
An upgraded battery is a great place to start

I thought that the v6 manuals had a 130 amp alternator is that wrong?

(I also current have an Optima red top, although its starting to get to the end of its useful life and im thinking of replacing it with a yellow-top in the near future)

Standard alternator is 105 amp, if you have the tow package it's a 130 amp.

The theoretical combined load of all your accessories is about 105 amps although unless your really cranking the tunes you should be nowhere near the 1000W (77 amps) on your amplifier.
So if we say your amp is pulling half it's rated power (~39 amps) and your lights are pulling 24 amps your at about 63 amps of accessory load which is pretty high.

What you can do is watch your battery voltage when you have everything turned on, if it starts dropping below about 12.8 -13v your alternator is maxed out but if it holds at least 13.2v your probably ok.
