My Tacoma has started shaking when accelerating, It is fine no shakes when idling but get on the gas very slow acceleration and shaking and a whistling sound from passengers side. I have replaced my catalytic convs. and ohmed out all my injectors with 14.5 ohm on all six? any suggestions?

Do you know if its throwing any codes? Might try going to vatozone or o'reillys and have them hook up a code reader, if you dont have one. Could be a good starting point and would help us help you more. If no codes are being thrown, it could be something as simple as u joints causing the vibes. Good luck, and let us know what you find out. There are lots of very knowledgable members on here that should be able to help, given a little more info about the problem

I went to advanced auto, no codes, went to my brother in laws with his code reader no codes. Talked to my friend who worked with Toyota in the past and said the same thing about the u joints. Going to replace them this week and see if that is the issue. Trying to keep cost down but about ready to go to a true mechanic!! Thanks for the feedback
