    2008 Tacoma v6 access door
None currently trying to save this truck. Runs great. Frame rust which I am treating. Working on all fluids.
    Hey
Posted awhile back about this 08 v6 4x4 access door. I bought from a friend in New Hampshire. I knew it had frame rust. Removed the bed and repaired the frame in the area of the forward leaf spring mount. From cab back that was the only issue I found. Now going forward under cab has a couple spots ( mainly on the bottom ). Front section has same spotty swiss cheese. Main concern is lower control arm cross member. This has swiss cheese and because of the stamped steel construction has me scratching my head how to repair.
The whole frame recall thing didn't work. It was missed by 4 months. Anyway During rear frame work one leaf was found broken. So replaced with new/used set from salvage yard. Disassembled front suspension bead blasted and installed leveling spacers.
This little bastard runs and drives great everything works good. I use it every day as my jam around truck. Say under 200 mile trip. Now I don't go off road to test to see if I can can break it. That wouldn't help at this time.
I guess. I'm not sure if I should continue my frame repairs then sell. Or stop and sell.
    Thanks Mark
