I'm not afraid of high miles if I'm the one who put them on the vehicle. But I'd be afraid to buy one with that many miles on it. In fact I'm afraid to sell mine with that many miles on it. Although I might trade it to a dealer and let them worry about it.

My 07 4X4 DC TRD has 243,000 miles on it and I've done minimal maintenance other than change the oil. A if Iround $7K is the least I'd take for it If I were to sell it. I'd get in it and drive cross country tomorrow. I have every reason to believe it will make it to at least 300,000 before it needs any major work done. But at the same time If I were selling it, I wouldn't promise a potential buyer it will make it home. And that is why I'd just rather keep it. I'd feel bad if I sold it to someone and issues came up shortly after.

At this point I'm going to just keep driving it until something breaks or I die whichever comes 1st. If it breaks before I die, I'll decide what to do then. Fix it or scrap it.
