I am 15 and my parents think I need a new stereo in my truck. The reason they think I need a new one is because the one I have right now doesn’t have apple car play. It also isn’t hands free and also doesn't have a backup camera. If you have a stereo and like it can you reply with the link to buy it, budget ($200-$400).
I’m also looking to get a sub installed so it will need to be compatible with that.
    Thanks

Hop on Crutchfield and plug in your model and year. They can get you whatever you need, including adapter harnesses and make sure that everything will play nice. Recently did my '06, but with a bit of a higher budget so I'm not much help there. I'd recommend getting a dash kit and a basic double DIN head unit and go from there rather than a vehicle specific one. Let's you take it with you if you switch to something else. There's some stuff in your budget from Pioneer.

    Crutchfield +1.

Save room for speakers, or save up for them. It’ll be a drastic improvement. I swapped to a car play head unit with backup camera, 4 speakers, steering wheel controls, coded alarm, tint all at once. I do wish I had a volume knob instead of buttons though.

It makes me happy to hear someone so young is making an effort to keep eyes on the road instead of on a rectangle.
