2008 Toyota Tacoma TPMS Problem

I have tried googling my problem with no results. I removed the spare tire on my 2008 Tacoma truck to put winch in rear bumper. The TPMS stays on even with resetting button under steering column many times. Went to my local Toyota Dealership and they could offer no help what so ever. How do I get system to stop looking for missing spare tire TPM?
