    The kizashi is a good story.. It only has 80 miles, bought the car on monday since the tundra died and I'm willing to fix and sell. About the noise its making, I don't have that, the car is simply awesome (please note that I also own a C300 mercedes, so to say a sedan its awesome, it really is)

    Someone at the tundrasolutions forum told me to split the filter in half while recording a video...

    NO do not touch the filter or anything in the engine bay. that could be seen as tampering then they def wouldn't cover anything. call the regional rep and see where he would like you to take it. preferably to a differnet dealer who has no skin in the game so to speak

    yeah if that was put on at the dealer, I would be concerned. with what the dealer charges, you'd think they would use genuine toyota parts.

    The stealership buys the cheapest filters to save a few bucks, then charges you royally for a simple oil change. Then, they expect you to buy another vehicle from them when your engine blows up!

    right, just like when they said the trans fluid is good for over 100k miles.... well past the point of warrenty.
    anyway, GL dude be firm with them and things might work out in the end. Keep us posted on what happends.

    ^^ V6 in a Tundra is not available in Canada.
