Check car-part.com. I got all my parts used and shipped to me for super cheap. Other then the heavy pieces haha. I just picked those up from the yards.

I cut mine to extend it, but I haven’t made the time to finish the install because apparently I installed the ebrake bracket too close to the firewall and I can’t install the plug without unbolting the mount from the firewall.

I will have many questions for you in the future as I'm researching this. What is the difference in length of auto 4x4 to manual 4x4 transmission?

I was understanding it's an inch and a spacer could be used

I 3D printer spacers with an angled face to help position the ebrake bracket. If you have access to a printer I’ll share the file with you.

There is a truck in atlanta copart but from what I've seen online and a towing buddy told me. They have a but ton of fees and it's a nightmare.

I totally forgot about that, if I remember correctly, that is an option. I know it’s an option for the SB double cab guys but I’m not sure about a Long bed

Well I didn’t get mine through copart, I got mine in pieces from many different junkyards. I didn’t need that much. Also I didn’t have to change master cylinders. Sometimes the MT models ran out of the brake master cylinder. I just ran it all separately. Fluid resi > clutch pedal / clutch master > clutch masters HydroBearing.

I do not have one personally, but I do have access to one. Also that would be great.

Looks like I may have to do the same. Not any manual second gen tacoma around me, only a couple junkyards within an hour too lol. I wonder if there is a manual long bed second gen out there somewhere.

    So why the hydro bearing?

They didn’t make a MT 2nd gen longbed. I had a lot of my parts shipped from the yards. I chose the HydroBearing because the mt 2nd gens had an issue where the throwout bearing hits the pressure plate. Makes a growling noise when the clutch isn’t engaged. They have a whole thread on here about “ 2nd gen manual trans fix

Yea I knew about the throw out chirp. Was just going to do the URD? Bearing upgrade. Can't remember off the top of my head.

You figure out what your noise was in the recent video?

the Trans is the RA60F correct. The F stands for 4wd.

URD has a sleeve and an oversized bearing for the fix. I used the HydroBearing because also it helped me isolate my clutch hydraulic system.

It’s my HydroBearing. I think. It’s doing the growl. But I didn’t have the trans inspection cover on for months. I just recently got one and installed it. I think I got surface rust on the bearing. Idk, I haven’t looked since it still engages fine. I’ll deal with it next time I swap clutches. I’ll probably get a stage 1 heavy duty clutch. But oem works well too.

Gotcha. Well the more I'm looking at this the more it screams do it. Lol. It'll be cheaper in the long run than hoping this auto is still good after a torque converter replacement. Shipping a transmission is probably going to be expensive but one in canada with 146k on it. Not too bad says clean fluid. However it's only 700$
