My 09 has 138k and loving it. Regular maintenance and good 2 go! I may just give it a good paint job since the paint is starting to fade but that’s still cheaper than a new Tacoma....

You are averaging a little over 5k miles a year, not worth getting rid of it if it is running good IMO. Keep it.

Seriously - I just sold my 2019 TRD OR for about $4k over what I bought it new for. Insanity

With that said, I wouldn't have sold it if I hadn't had to the opportunity to buy a 2nd gen at a "family discount". Prices on everything are super high right now

    OME and worth every penny.
I suspect something is afoot and the hope is that it will be most of us.

Last February, I was shopping for a fully optioned LTZ Silverado and ended up finding what I wanted in a 2014 Chevrolet 4 door shortbed. I was at the point of finalizing the bank I would use when the other lot at Lee Johnson sold it out from under me to someone else. At that time, they were offering 14k on my 09 w/103k miles which I thought was good. Just last night I heard that March/April has been a time frame of "All-Time" high for what dealers are offering for trade-in value due to the need to keep inventory on there lots because new car/truck availability is down due to the computer chip shortage. Long and short of it, I kept my 09 and just paid it off and now trying to pay down the mortgage faster.

You can sell high right now,BUT then you have too pay a high price too replace,so really no point in selling.
