This is the bottom, while assembling on the bench.
It rolls forward without having to remove for access to the storage.

How did nobody comment on this back seat deck? Looks great James. Very clean looking. One question though.... why don't you have a lift, 35's on chrome, and hibiscus flower print wet okoles?

Interested in trading houses for a couple weeks in February???? BC is beautiful that time of year.

So I finished my platform for my pooch and I have to say, I'm a bit impressed with it... I cut it to fit along the profiles of the sides, front and back so she wouldn't fall in any holes along the edges. It's raised a bit more than most of the others I've seen, but she's a small girl and I wanted to get her up so she could see out of all the windows.

The platform is about the same height as the center console, which makes it very nice because the two compartments are 100% accessible without removing the platform.

I think my next thing will be to add a couple battery LED lights under the platform so I can see what I've got under there.

I just built platforms for the back. my girl does just fine. we routinely go on 5+ hour trips and shes extremely content. just a piece of plywood cut in a square with 2 legs made of 2x4 high enough to make the platform level with the storage boxes. i can throw her bed on them, or whatever. ive also got a carpeted platform. but i agree, the backseats of ours is pretty terrible compared to the previous version. i am extremely unhappy. buuut whatever, i adapted and it works fine now.
