2009 iPod to Aux Input - How?

Sorry if this has been covered... I did read the stickies and tries a couple of searches and came up empty - but maybe I missed it.

I'd like to play my iPod Touch through the factory stereo via the Aux. input jack. What cable do I need to do this? I understand that I probably will NOT be able to control the iPod via the factory stereo controls, but I'd at least like to be able to play it via a direct connection instead of a FM modulator/transmitter.

You can get one of these wires just about anywhere - Walmart, BestBuy, etc...

Aw man! Is THAT all??? I was trying to make this much more difficult - thinking it would use the iPod 30-pin (or whatever) connector. Also haven't had time to even look closely at the Aux input in the truck, so I didn't know it's just a standard mini-plug. I can certainly handle that... thanks!

 

Yep. Just a mini plug. Plugs into the headphones jack of the iPod.
