2009 Keyless Entry & Key Question?????

I just bought 2009 Tacoma TRD Sport yesterday and it came with only 1 key. No extra key or remote entry. I am almost positive that this year came with keyless entry. Do I just need to get on ebay and order some remotes & extra key that way? If so, is there a certain type of remote/key or code that I need to be looking for? And how do I go about programming them?

Before you start buying keys/remotes, have the dealer run your vin for the options your truck has. There is always the odd ball truck that has different options than normal. Had a truck here that came from another place and they tried to program remotes.
Didn't have the option.

If you have the option then a secret handshake will program remotes.
If you have only one key then you can't add keys yourself if memory serves me right as you need 2 black keys.
If you have a gray key then you will need a immobilizer reset as you do not have a master key to add keys.

So have the vin run to confirm your suspicions.

Sure. As long as its for the year truck.
