2009 Prerunner offroad traction control modes.

Howdy fellas,

Heres the question:

The rear axle is open unless I engage the difflock. Got that.

However, if I disable VSC I get a dashlight indicating 'Auto LSD'.

Does ALSD really work or is it some fluff?


If it works, I basically have the capabilities of three diffrent axles right?

auto lsd works, drives me nuts in the dirt, can't slide or anything with it on. i turn it completely off when in the dirt, just hold the button you turn everything off, you will get the car symbol with the lines behind it.

 

Its pouring rain here in Sac, so I was forced to try the ALSD mode and whaddya know, It works!

Pretty amazing. Open or LSD or Locker.

you got it, they all work good, alsd just slowes you down when it's dry and you want to have fun.

 

Ahah! Hold down the VSC button to turn off the ALSD.

Tried it and it works!
