So I decided to attempt a recoding of my SC along with some video of the dash board showing the guages as they performed with the system. The recoding I have linked to, since I cannot seem to upload it here, is an interesting one. Its not easy trying to video record the guages and drive this power house at full open throttle without spinning the wheels or driving off the road.

Also, this recording is not from one of the time trials its just a get going and punch it so you can see it all work and hear the whine of the SC.

    Enjoy!

Awesome. What gauges were you talking about though? Just the tach and speedo?

Are you kidding? Do you think he will be able to hold back for a whole tank. I can't & I don't have a SC. :D

Not a problem with the whine. Just turn up the radio!:D

That is cool about the SC. Congrats! Wish I had one.

I can barely hold back not flooring it in the Expedition, that V8 sounds amazing and when the tranmission gets spinning it whines just like a SC.
I sit there getting 2 MPG at 5000 RPM just...:D

Beleive you me it has been very difficult this past week to drive passively. I am glad that I am on tank 4 where I will be doing the mix of driving as it will more accuratly depict my future gas mileage.

On a side not I have noticed that the smaller lag in the lower RPM's of accelration between 1000 and 2000 have really been cleaned up with the SC on it. The stop to go in the low range is much nicer...

lol, I've never seen a shift light that was orange/yellow, in the shape of an engine, and said "check" above it.

I know.. its pretty neat what you can do when you have complete control over the ECU. :D

I just read through a couple articles and thought you might want the actual numbers the SC adds to the stock 236HP/266TQ:

Engine Size and Type: 4.0-liter DOHC VVT-i V6
    Horsepower (hp): 304-hp
    Torque (ft-lbs): 334 ft-lbs

Their 0-60 for the 4-door-long-bed was 6.6 so it looks like your numbers are right where they should be. If you're interested the link is: http://www.pickuptrucks.com/html/2008/toyota/tacoma/roadtest/page1.html

The author was kind of a dick toward the Taco overall but not everyone is as smart as all of us right? Congrats on the awesome package brother.
