At the risk of being offensive or obnoxious, if you do not have the KSAs (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) to diagnosis the problem then you need to bring is to someplace that does. Independent auto AC places are dime a dozen here (don't known about where you are)--just take it into one of those and get an "itemized" quote--then come back and let us know what they said...
