    Has anyone had issues with the factory radio in the Tacoma? Mine turns off by itself, at times, the AUX no longer works, and the sound quality is poor.:(

    Yeah.
    Yup, I went through 2 of them before I gave up and went aftermarket. Mine did the same as yours plus some other random craziness.

    2009 Tacoma SR5 Too many to list, but its a SR5 with a TRD Sport Heart
    There was a recall on some of them. I got mine replaced under it. Check with your dealership they should be able to help you out.

    Yeah.
    Yeah, they needed to recall them -- when I got the first one replaced, I asked if they had rev'd the model and they said not yet. Apparently it affected several vehicle models, they had no argument with replacing it. The second one started having similar issues after about a month or two.

    But yeah, check with the dealer to see if you are covered, or go to Crutchfield and spend your own coin.
