The front pads have been clicking now for 2 months and can be very annoying. It occurs when starting from a stop, and going in reverse. Two dealers say that it is normal. Do other owners have this same problem???

I hear it too. Moreover, mine rattle while driving over bumps in the road. I know it's the pads as when I apply light pressure over the bumps, it's quiet.
I hope that when the time comes for new pads that the new ones won't do this.

The dealer told me it was normal too. They performed a brake service an the clicking stopped. You could try that.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only person with this - because it is driving me insane! I have only had my Tacoma for 2 months so I'm still learning all of its habits that make it different from other trucks.

Once the pads get halfway down they start to do this. Here is what you need to do....Buy new pads. Its how I stopped mine.:D
