Looking at this 2009 taco with 180k miles. They want 11k. Exterior & interior looks great. Can you guys help me judge if this frame is in good shape and if it’s gonna need work? Buying my first taco!

I like it. I’d like to see you get a couple of grand off so you can buy new shocks and brakes but I like it. I’d make an offer of $8,500 and see what happens.

It looks OK from those angles.

Take a second look at the cab mounts, the inboard facing sides of the front boxed section (facing the cats), the inside of the frame near the muffler, and the inside bottom edges of the midframe where the multiple C-channel sections are nested together.

You're looking for bubbling, peeling, deamination (spreading of the layers), or signs of tanpering to cover those problem areas.
