I recently purchased a 2009 SR5 4X4, manual transmission. I forgot how much I like driving a Tacoma with a manual transmission. I am slowing working my way over the vehicle to restore it. I noticed that the tailgate seems to be sloppy meaning I can move it up and down somewhat. I am not sure what is allowable to the specifications. I have searched numerous sites to include here looking for possible bushings. I have not removed the tailgate to look at the hinges real good. Are there bushings that can be replaced or only replace the entire hinges or pins.
