    AVS Bugdeflector II
Good day all! I have tried unsuccessfully to get a well fitting bug deflector for my 09 Tacoma. I got a Bug Deflector II from AVS from the local Autozone. It did not fit well and it scratched some paint off because one side did not match the lines of the curve of the front hood. I know they gave me the right one because the holes lined up perfectly but the deflector was off enought to damage my paint. I touched it up and brought the thing back to Autozone. They took it back. Does anyone know of one that fits right without tape? I heard the weathertech one uses double sided tape and the guy from autoanything said the egr requires drilling! I will not do that!
    Thanks to all!

I have the weathertech and just installed it this past weekend. Six plastic screw thingys hold the deflector and they are screwed into factory holes already on the underside of hood. No drilling. So far it appears to fit well, with no rubbing. But I will keep my eye on it and post back with any issue. wmb67

    AVS Bugdeflector II
Anyone else have any suggestions? I am interested to know the brand that the dealer sells? I wonder if it is a rebadged AVS or EGR?

My dealer sells (or at least tries to) the AVS in original packaging.

    YMMV.

I got the factory toyota one and it fits perfect and I just put little pieces of 3M clear where the screws touch paint and possibly damage, been on my truck for about 3 months no damage so far...knock on wood
