I have a 2009 TRD V6 manual 19,000 miles, recently on occaision it has trouble starting on cold starts. Battery is fine, it turns over and over and over. After 3 or 4 attempts it evenually does start. Any thoughts or simular issues? My thought is it might the factory imobilizer in the antitheft key?

I don't know about these, but that USED to be a symptom of bad cam or crank position sensor. Though with a cam position sensor on these things I believe it throws a CEL.

Could also be a leaky injector or pump allowing leak back. Takes a while to get re primed?

I did find some simular posts here about it. Sounds like either an ECU error, or I just need to live with it.

undo the battery terminal and let it sit for a bit.. try again?

If not, bring it to the dealer and hope it does it for them.
