What are the differences between the 2009 and 2010? Does the 09 have a rear view camera??

The 2 years are basically identical. Both have rear view camera.

Thanks, I am still trying to decide what year to get and if the 2009's are not different I may look for a used one! To save money!!!

Both *offer* a rear view backup camera, with the right option packages.

    Pretty much stock
IIRC the only thing changed in '10 was cupholders. 2009 is where the larger changes were made.

All of the 09's have a backup camera including the base models but not all of them have the screen but the wiring is there. You can get the screen for like 200-300 dollars.

All SR5 or higher packages came with the rear view for 09+.

Other than cup holders, no change.

Base doesn't. SR5 and TRD Packages do.

Yes, base is wired and you just need the rearview with display. But that's not what he asked.

Only difference is 2010 has big cup holders that can hold nalgene 32oz bottles perfectly. Get what you like, for me new was worth more than the small discount I was finding on 09's at the time, but I bought my 2010 in Oct. 09, so you may be able to find a better deal.

These trucks hold their value really well as everybody knows so the difference in price between a used 2009 and new 2010 is very minimal. It makes more sense to get a new one IMO.

What ? Would you really pay the extra 4 grand if you liked the 2010 cupholders better ?

Honestly yea, in my opinion if there is only a 4 grand dif then I would pay the 4 grand since its newer. Now if there was a 7 or 8 grand dif I would def take the 09....but for just 4 grand more...I am going new!!!:D

Cup holder has nothing to do with it..I just want to see it!

I looked at used 08's, 09's and the prices were so close to new that I ended up buying a new one. I've always bought 2 year old cars in the past because it was always a good deal but these trucks hold value so well it didn't make any sense.
