Bought the truck about a month ago now and noticed it’s always wet underneath,There are no check engine lights on the truck. I’m starting to get worried about this.IMG_9298.jpg IMG_9290.jpg IMG_9296.jpg IMG_9293.jpg IMG_9295.jpg

From the pics it seems like everything is coated even the frame and crossmembers. It kind off looks like it was sprayed down with a rust preventative spray like fluid film or wool wax.

Red? Antifreeze or ATF, determine if it's oily by putting some on the top of water. If antifreeze it'll mix, if ATF it sheen and float. Either way, you have issues and failure to repair will cost big $$$$ down the road. It's easy the check the coolant level, harder to check the ATF level properly.

Since the pic is the front pig, I'd start with carefully inspecting the radiator, trans cooler if it has one and the hard lines from the transmission and the rubber coolant lines.

FWIW, it looks like an ATF leak to me.

I hope you got a really good buy on that. Did you know it was leaking when you bought it? I agree it looks like transmission fluid (ATF).

Clean it up really good with an antigreaser then take a ride and inspect for a leak when you return. IF you are lucky it will just be one of the ATF fluid lines that go to the radiator. easy fix and cheap.
